Use case: Blog
This hypothetical blog contains articles targeted to a specific niche. The owner of the blogs gets revenues by showing ads in each pages as well as affiliate links to specific products. In order to improve revenues, the owner uses Insights to track the following statistics on their app:
- Page views on the front page, as well as all the articles, including time spent on each page, referrers, screen sizes, type of device, and transitions.
- For each article, how far are users reading? Are they only reading the title/introduction? Are they scrolling down to the complete bottom?
- For each ad and affiliate links, how long are they visible for the users?
- For each ad and affiliate links, do users often click on them or are they mainly scrolling through and ignoring them? Does screen sizes/device type affect the interactions?
